A formal partnership agreement to support the newly formed West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA).

Birmingham City University, Coventry University and the University of Wolverhampton have created a formal partnership agreement to support the newly formed West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA).

The West Midlands Combined Universities (WMCU) will focus on addressing skills gaps and contributing to regional prosperity by helping to create jobs and employability opportunities as well as improve productivity and economic development in the West Midlands.

In the short term the partnership will offer existing degree courses, Continuous Professional Development, apprenticeships and professional training with a long term aim of providing a combined growth hub and regional brokerage.
